Dustin Carfield is one of two founding principals of NextStar Funding based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  NextStar assists developers in providing consumer financing for unique real estate with a specific focus on private residence clubs and condohotels.  NextStar has serviced nearly ninety planned and existing properties across the country since 2002.  By providing professional customer service and attractive financing solutions, NextStar has become a valued partner across the resort industry.
 
Prior to creating NextStar, Dustin practiced law, focusing on corporate transactions and finance.  Before making the transition to resort real estate, his legal career took him from St. Louis to London, New York, and the Middle East.  A native of Colorado, Dustin earned a JD from Vanderbilt University.  He also studied at the London School of Economics and received a BA in Economics and Political Science from Washington University.
